Iceland and Greenland on Swan Hellenic's new ship SH Vega

After launching my new venture in June this year, 4 weeks after the launch video, I was so excited to receive a call from Germany for my first possible assignment, how exciting! Swan Hellenic  have asked me to experience their latest expedition ship, SH Vega. SH Vega is a 5 star elegant Scandi design boutique ship which incorporates a PC5 ice-strengthened hull combined with extra-large stabilisers to make your journey as smooth as possible through the remote regions in which she’ll travel.

One of the things I’m looking forward to experiencing is the state of the art gym, sauna and jacuzzi which takes in the breathtaking vistas! Vega can accommodate 152 guest in ocean view, balcony and suites, some even have fire places!

This coming Thursday I’ll be boarding SH Vega in one of my favorite places in the world, Reykjavik Iceland. It’s a 13 day cruise which includes a circumnavigation of Iceland and landings in Eastern Greenland.

I’m flying business class on Vietnam airlines to Paris so it will be interesting to experience their beds and service as I’ve never flown them before. They fly 787’s between Saigon and Paris so can’t be too bad. From Paris, its Iceland air which are excellent, I’ve flown them many times. If you’ve looked at business class fares to Europe lately, you’ll see why I’m not flying the major carries, the fares are ridiculous!
